DEATH OF OUR OTHER ANNA--It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Anna Harrison Lindgren on April 23, at age 89. She was a gifted violinist and active in many groups, including Mu Rho Sigma Sorority. In 1980, Anna was elected president of Atlanta Alumnae Chapter where she took on the project of innovative (goal-setting) and ongoing fund raising for the sorority's scholarship. Up until then the treasury would be depleted after the awarding of the scholarship. She was named "Alumna of the Year" in 1980. A private celebration of her life will be held at a later date where she made her home with her daughter and son-in-law, who, following retirement made their home in Pinehurst, NC.
